Overview

SIGMAEO provides a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that enables AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT to access powerful SEO intelligence tools. With over 40 specialized tools, you can analyze domains, research keywords, audit pages, track competitors, and monitor AI citations - all through natural conversation.

Quick Start

Connect SIGMAEO to your AI assistant in minutes:

Claude Desktop / Claude.ai

Add via the UI:

  1. Go to Settings > Connectors
  2. Click "Add custom connector"
  3. Enter URL: https://api.sigmaeo.com/mcp-claude
  4. Click "Advanced settings" and enter:
    Client ID: sigmaeo-claude
  5. Click "Add" and authenticate with your SIGMAEO account
Claude Code CLI

Run the following command:

claude mcp add --transport http sigmaeo https://api.sigmaeo.com/mcp-claude

After adding, run /mcp, select SIGMAEO, and click "Authenticate" to complete OAuth setup.

ChatGPT

Search for "SIGMAEO" in the ChatGPT App Store or use the endpoint:

https://api.sigmaeo.com/mcp

Authentication

SIGMAEO uses OAuth 2.0 with PKCE for secure authentication. When you first connect, you'll be redirected to sign in with your SIGMAEO account.

Troubleshooting

"Authorization failed" or "401 Unauthorized"
  • Re-authenticate by disconnecting and reconnecting the MCP server
  • Ensure your SIGMAEO account is active
  • Check if your subscription has expired
"Insufficient credits"
  • Purchase more credits at sigmaeo.com/billing
  • Use FREE tools like fetch_page_content and check_meta_tags
"Connection timeout" or "Server unavailable"
  • Check your internet connection
  • Verify the endpoint URL is correct
  • Try again in a few minutes - the server may be under maintenance
"Tool not found" or "Unknown tool"
  • Check the tool name spelling (use exact names from the list above)
  • Refresh the MCP connection to reload available tools
